Hey remember those times in Children of the Stars when Keleria would totally lose her shit to that thing inside her?
Hey remember those times in Children of the Stars when Keleria would totally lose her shit to that thing inside her?
The first of “outtakes” written as a breather between the arcs of Children of the Stars. Keleria’s hair used to be white in-game but because I’m easily knocked I changed it to blue when the barber shops were introduced after one too many “grandma” remarks. Regards canon her hair has now been naturally blue since birth.
Once upon a time, Keleria’s hair was white…
“Hey grandma, why ain’tcha down at the orphanage knitting socks for them kids?”
Keleria lazily turned her head to stare at the half-drunk, ever so cocky Human not far from her table. He was sitting with a group of his pals, just as inebriated as their leader and giggling like gibbons at his taunting.
She sighed and downed a large mouthful of her drink, “I do not possess the talent for knitting.”
“What about a bedtime story?”
“My stories would give them nightmares.”
“Oh, by the Light, I hope you ain’t got kids yourself!”
“I have not entertained the thought of having them.”
“Ah, so we got a spinster here, boys?”
If not for the fact that she’d likely break their necks for lack of proper control right now, Keleria would get up from her table and teach the arrogant little apes a lesson.
The young man downed the rest of his drink; most likely some cheap spirit he used to fuel equally cheap romps with Old Town’s disease riddled ‘ladies’ of the night. Keleria set her mug down, “do you enjoy picking on others above your station, boy?”
“Only the ones who look like old witches.”
She wasn’t looking at him, but she could hear both the grin in his voice and the chuckling of his friends. Calmly getting up from her seat she tossed a few gold coins at the barman, only to promptly bring her leg down on the youth’s table, smashing it to pieces. The entire group of them fell back and scattered with the dignity of a toppled barrel of suffocating fish.
Keleria gave the young man an ineffectual look and then left, stepping out into the mild night air of Stormwind.
It was just the words of a drunken child; she needn’t worry herself over it.
2 Days Later…
Ayuri hurried through the mage quarter, her steps quick and eager as they carried her to the Smouldering Oak. It was an unusual occurrence for her to be smiling so openly, but with who she was going to see, this was little surprise.
Reaching the incense laden bar she looked around, searching over the heads of it’s many patrons only to find herself confused. Where was Keleria? There was another Kal’dorei sitting at their usual table, but – Ayuri blinked. It was Keleria, if just a little changed; her hair was dark blue. Frowning out of puzzlement more than anything else, Ayuri made her way over and settled in the chair nearest, raising a brow at the warrior.
“What’s with the hair?”
“I felt like changing it.”
“You just…felt like changing it?”
“Is that hard to believe?”
“Sorry, you just don’t seem like the type for cosmetic stuff.”
“You…do you like it?”
“What?”
“The difference.”
Keleria was averting her eyes, and it occurred to Ayuri that the warrior was genuinely concerned about what the girl thought of her appearance. She smiled gently and placed a hand over Keleria’s, making the warrior look at her. “It’s just your hair Kel, I don’t care what you do with it, what you wear or what you look like any time from now; I love you.”
Keleria stared at her, quiet a moment, before a small smile sneaked it’s way onto her lips. “Thank you…”
Keleria breathed deep as she entered Darnassus, familiar scents from the temple gardens carried on a gentle breeze. It was a quiet period of twilight, just before dawn, most were winding down and getting ready to sleep. Anyone who wasn’t a local and hadn’t yet grown accustomed to the Kal’dorei way of living would be waking up soon. Having lived partially as a diurnal creature for years out of necessity, Keleria still didn’t see the appeal. Nevertheless, she had far more important things to focus on.
Leaving E’Tharadar’s saddle she heavily patted her hand across the hippogryph’s neck, earning an appreciative caw from the big male, and bent to unbuckle his gear. Once he was free of the saddle he quickly took to the air and quickly disappeared in the direction Teldrassil’s greater forest, no doubt looking for prey.
She glanced around momentarily, getting her bearings. She hadn’t been home in over a month and she still smelled vaguely of ashes, damned Ragnaros and his minions. It wounded her to see Hyjal in such a state but they were pushing their enemies back inch by inch and it was something to be proud of.
Darnassus was thankfully still the same, no catastrophe, no panic, just her people going about their lives the same as always. It was comforting to see.
Walking through the streets she steadily made her way to the north eastern edge of the city, where the distinction between city and forest began to grow unclear. Along the way she picked up a small packet of peach rolls from the local bakery, their scent made her smile, imagining the reaction they would get. She was lucky too, they were just starting to close.
Finally she reached one of the larger trees, shaped by the wisps into being a home, and stepped through the door between two of its larger roots. Inside was welcoming with the smell of lavender on the air and she felt immediately calmer. She looked up to see a familiar shape walking around upstairs and put E’Tharadar’s saddle down by the door as quietly as she could. Stalking up the stairs was another matter, her heavy plate armour made it all but impossible to move silently but she could hear humming from her target.
Keleria smiled when she reached the second floor, spotting her beloved playing with their sprite darter, Za’tiel. He spotted her first and chirped, fluttering over to her and landing on right shoulder guard.
“Keleria!” Ayuri lit up with a grin and all but tackled the bigger woman, arms looping around her neck.
There’s a tl;dr if you don’t want to see my babble about night elf sexuality.
So I remember having a conversation once about how Night Elves might view sexuality.
And my thought was that they aren’t too bothered by same-sex couples.
A guildie said that he thought otherwise, because the Night Elves might view that as a waste of potential life, i.e lack of children.
And I hadn’t thought of a coherent counter point until last night. Just like the scumbag brain to not think of a good point until the discussion has long since died.
But anyway.
My basic thought was that since the Night Elves became immortal they weren’t dying of old age. So they couldn’t keep producing children at the rate they might have been before they became immortal.
There would eventually be too many of them to support. So they slowed down, there was a distinct lack of ‘pressure’ to have children because there only needed to be enough to make up for accidental deaths because they could obviously still be killed by Orcs and shit so they were just ‘functionally’ immortal.
So after 10,000 years of that they have a more relaxed view of things. But I can see that getting uprooted a bit by their loss of immortality and the ensuing wars kind of draining their numbers.
But this got me thinking about the other races and I can’t really decide so I’m going to do what is probably not the smart thing and ask the internet.
TL;DR
What do you guys think? How do the other races view/treat sexualities?
And then there’s the four things I have of Sarbuilas.
I got the pup when the tokens/medals/whatever were still battleground specific. Not saying that as a “so that means I’m totally better” way. I’m just pointing it out because I got it a few weeks before they changed it to buying the BG specific things through honour and I just…
I just sighed because I didn’t know they were going to do that.
First two are from events. I don’t specifically remember what the first imge was of, but I definitely remember the second one was hunting down the asshole that murdered our co-leader.
(The player behind him got a recustomization and became the female standing behind the guy in front of the group, our leader, Archus. Total 180 from the original guy, she was a raging bitch. But she was also second in command. So lots of disgruntlement and forced respect. It was interesting)
And then there was that one time I had a conflicted elf Paladin and took another dumb “sun/moon above them in the sky” screenshot.
Danlik was an interesting one, though I feel I should leave him alone because writing Blood Elves makes me anxious.
Hey you gais I found one of the less-than-ten screenshots I have of Keleria.
Like this particular type of shot hasn’t been done eighty million times before.
So yeah you guys I have commission info now if ya’ll wanna take a gander.

The memory of one struck me and I just facepalmed at my desk.
And they were based out of the Stormwind cathedral.
While being named as if they were a religious group. Which means Elune. As in they should be operating out of the Temple of Elune in Darnassus. Not the centre of Human’s worshipping of the Light.
Karallah being a slouching grump and Seraani being her usual self.
I should probably have added details to her horns but oh well.
Feel free to take a look.
I had a few more Worgen but I don’t have headshots for them or a firm grasp of their characters. (neither do I have access to the game itself anymore) But there ya go.

These are answered as Keleria in her current state. If you’ve been reading Children of the Stars then some of this might be surprising or seemingly out of character. Trust me when I say a lot of shit happens from the point CotS is at and “now.”
1: What does their bedroom look like?
Simplistic but welcoming. Keleria isn’t much for opulence or waste and prefers to keep close to her roots as a Kal’dorei.
2: Do they have any daily rituals?
She prays to Elune upon the moonrise and if she’s staying Darnassus she visits the temple and sits listening to the prayers and singing of the priestesses.
3: Do they exercise, and if so, what do they do? How often?
She has no need of it as she is constantly fighting in heavy armour and a pair of swords that are usually wielded with two hands by normal warriors.
4: What would they do if they needed to make dinner but the kitchen was busy?
Well usually that would mean Ayuri is cooking, so Keleria would either offer to help or failing that grab a heaven peach or something similar to curb her hunger until food was ready.
5: Cleanliness habits (personal, workspace, etc.)
Personally Keleria is quite clean though she doesn’t often partake in the more chemical perfumes of humans. If she does use a scent it tends to be derived from peacebloom. (Sometimes she smells of lavender because it’s what Ayuri uses most.)
She has a hand in smithing and tends to keep her workspace and tools clean and ready for the next task. She takes good care of all her equipment.
6: Eating habits and sample daily menu
Keleria eats very well and tries to never waste her food. She eats a lot of meats and fruits, with plenty of fish and an occasional bout of wild rice that’s gathered every now and then. Doesn’t much care for soups but she likes stews.
7: Favourite way to waste time and feelings surrounding wasting time
Wasting time when there’s things to do makes her restless and impatient.
8: Favourite indulgence and feelings surrounding indulging
Tea, specifically Suramari Starleaf. It reminds her of home.
“You are as Elune herself to me.”

Because you guys totally needed to know.
But seriously, next to Rhysta, Keleria is the most marked up character I have.

Had the sudden urge to draw what Keleria essentially sees when looking at someone who has a specific kind of power inside them beyond “life energy” or whatever.
So here she’s looking at Feralan, the pack leader of the Shadow Sentinels. She’s a druid with her strongest connection being to the panther form and is usually found wearing horned headgear reminiscent of Malorne.
Feralan’s actual body from the neck down is more obscure to Keleria’s vision than her head because of her shapeshifter nature and the fact that she is so often in her panther form for extended periods of time. She has a vaguely humanoid shape but nothing much beyond that and often times her form is wreathed in the spirit of the panther even if she isn’t shapeshifted.
Also I totally just winged it with her horns but they were supposed to be antlers and I’m sorry.
